FFRPG has become rather difficult to plan nowadays and ..well.. I feel bad
I want to host a session but finding time has been rather hard to do. Maybe it has to do with me living on my own. It also has to do with Acha being with me. I dunno.
I do know that its also hard for you, the players, to find time for things…well..except CBX. That is because hes a gooberhead.

So, what I am thinking is setting up a small RP forum to continue the campaign in. This way people can post when they can and I can keep the story going. The benefit is that the story would go a bit faster and people can post when they can. Plus I can go a little beyond the generic FFRPG ruleset a little bit.
Downside is the loss of the interaction.
I leave this up to you. Otherwise, I will have to find a different day to do FFRPG on, but there isnt really a good day for it during the week. I am willing to try, however.

I have to wonder why, as a consumer, we continuously accept that the 360 is super crap? I am on my second one and the CD drive is already starting to make horrible noises when it spins down. I know many other people that are on their third repair or even third 360. Sure, it has great games, but when you have an article (that I do not have on hand at the moment) that states the 360 has around 25% failure rate, why hasnt anybody attempt to do something about it? I wish I could. However, I just dont have the funds to do it >:(

Despite the efforts of extending the warranty to three years, it feels like a cover up for the real issue. Its like MS is really holding a hankerchief over something invisible saying “wait for it…wait for it…” I wish there was somebody out there willing to put up a fight for something like this. Perhaps I will enlist the aid of Hinch. He is well known in his parts of getting things done. *ponder*

Well. NWN is a bust :O
So, I hope to resume a regular FFRPGness starting on 13th of July. I hope everybody kept their character sheets.

We will resume where we left off. Also, I think I might loosen up some things as since its prolly too serious. So watch out for more sillyness down the road.

I would like to delay FFRPG to monday evening. I dont know when I will be home today so it would be easier to continue tomorrow evening. Also, there seems to be enough interest for the NWN modules so I would like to slowly transition to them. I dont think it will happen every weekend since it takes more time to create a NWN module than a weekly campaign. I would like to use the NWN plat (original + the xpacs) as well as the CEP. This isnt set in stone however.

More later on this subject.

I am entertaining the idea (once again) on converting the storyline from FFRPG to NWN. One reason is that i want to make the campaign a bit more battle friendly and FFRPG still has its major issues when it comes to that…or something. As such, if you are interesting, (to the players that are currently playing), tell me if you think this is an idea and what versions of NWN you have. I would like to use all the xpacs but I can only use the ones that everybody has. So drop me a line via here if you would like to try or not. Tonights FFRPG will be the normal ffrpg campaign. (this is NWN1 btw) Also, it wont be a new storyline, it would be the same storyline as before but with a few conversions so if we do go wit hthis, I would like you to try to think of a character that resembles your current character as much as possible. (I do understand that summoners are not in the game)

However, for those who are in the WoW guild, I will have a slightly different FFRPG planned for you guys (STOWA, Tashi, Nomar,etc) So keep an eye out on the Guild RP forums for this.

Long long ago, the world was enveloped in a strange thick set of clouds. These clouds, which became known as The Veil prevented almost all sunlight through. The slight drizzle that constantly fell from the clouds was thought of a temporary situation.

But, the lands started to wither from the lack of sun and the constant rain that fell from the sky. Soon, crops began to die, and the populace began to panic. Even the wildlife began to change. Monster begun to appear and prey on the scarce food sources, even attacking people as cities began to fall into ruin.

Then came news. News of large areas where gaps of the clouds existed. It was a zone of peace where night and day existed. A zone where rain and sunshine existed. It seemed like paradise. However, there were only but a few of these zones. They stretched for miles, but barely enough to contain an entire lands worth of people.

So, a great rush to the new lands and chaos ensued. Mighty wars came about as the world tried to capture the scare land.

But, in the end, people settled. City states built. And peace came. The cities in the zones of haven ever so slowly isolated themselves from eachother, and the rest of the dark and desolate world.

A few centuries past. The long history of the veil has been all but forgotten. But inside the city states, peace has prospered. People have strived to live along with their lives..trying not to think what is beyond the great thick walls that protect their haven from the darkness beyond.

But things are changing. There have been rumors of the few travelers and caravans that travel beyond the gates. First, it seemed like rumors…but the tales became louder. Rumors abound that the Havens were shrinking…darkness was engulfing entire city states and monsters crushing the great walls protecting them.

The king, worried for his own city state, has summoned you to investigate, and perhaps, stop what is causing the darkness from growing. Do you heed the kings call? Do you venture beyond the gates?

You have never been beyond the gates that have protected Eurekana, your homeland. You have only heard of the dark stories passed down from long ago. You all have grown up together, yet never had thought you would be the ones to accept this summons from the king…for not many have. This is where your story begins…

This is a fantasy FFRPG setting. Most of the races have all congegrated into the land of Eurekana. However, not all things are peaches and cream. Many of the more naturally enclined races, such as the mithra, elvaan, and viera, all long for the open landscapes of their homelands long forgotten. As such, they tend to be more reserved while around the other races and prefer to keep to themselves.

Each character will start at level 5 with the appropiate starting monies and equipment outlined in the pdf books/wiki.

So I want to run a FFRPG on sundays starting around 6-7pm and run to about 9:30-10:00pm eastern times.
